Hello again, it has been a while. My so called ”trip” has become more of a stay in USA other than a months vacation, I became quite attached to this city (Washington D.C.) so I decided to stick around and explore more of this sort of lifestyle and environment. The 13th month I’ve stayed here is coming up, that is a whole year in the United States of America, that’s quite some time even though it feels like the year just flew away.
Recently I settled down here in my newly bought apartment and I am currently appealing for citizenship here in the USA. The Citizenship would make my life much easier because of all the complications with work and those complications I had buying the apartment, the paper work is just piling up in stacks by the minute ”sigh”. The story behind my job is quite interesting. A couple of months back my neighbour back in Sweden sent me a job offer once he heard I was about to stay here for a longer amount of time then I had planned. Me and my neighbour are old childhood friends and he had some connections over here in Washington and one of them runs a company with a non occupied post in one of the working teams. So he figured I might be interested and then decided to kindly ask me if that was something for me to claim that spot in the team and once I realized the opportunity I was offered I wasn’t about to be the one to hesitate. So I lashed out and took the leap and now a week ago I recieved a letter in my mail about a potential promotion. That really caught me by surprise but make no misstake it was a much appreciated surprise.
Trip to USA
